ADAS Calibration
Auto Calibration Tech ensures your vehicle’s safety systems are restored to manufacturer standards.
Why is ADAS Calibration Important?
Each vehicle’s safety system is unique, requiring a tailored calibration approach. Your ADAS helps prevent accidents by detecting obstacles, assisting with steering, and applying emergency braking. Proper calibration is essential to maintain these functions and ensure your vehicle operates safely.
At ACT, we offer efficient and affordable calibration services, typically completing them within the same business day. Using manufacturer, third-party, and in-house calibration methods, we ensure your vehicle meets AGSC, ANSI, and OEM standards.

3 Types of Calibration & Re-Calibration
When you schedule a windshield replacement with ACT, our trained team will determine if recalibration is necessary. If required, we use one or both of the following methods, depending on your vehicle’s manufacturer specifications:

Static (Stationary) Calibration
We use specific targets and our proprietary scan tool to align the camera at a specific distance, height, and width from the vehicle. It is mandatory to create a lane in a shop environment to calibrate to the narrowest width of the camera’s view.

Dynamic Calibration
We use our proprietary scan tool to calibrate on a road test to align the camera while the vehicle in the lane over a specific time and speed to calibrate to the widest view of the camera.

Combination Static / Dynamic Calibration
There are many vehicles which will require BOTH Static (Stationary) and Dynamic performed in sequence.
